Excellent food and service!!! Needs to be open longer!!! Their ribs are so good!!!
Waitress was very nice and food is really good. One of my favorite hidden places.
They make some really good food. The last time I was here I had a fish sandwich with fries and it was delicious. The second time I went today I got the french toast and eggs.it was sooo good. The waitress was nice as well and attentive to me. I will definitely come back whenever I'm in the area.
Stopped here on way to the DIA with the kids. Chicken tenders and fries and deluxe burger. Everything was very good with large portions. I really liked the time on the wall. The service was nice and friendly. Glad we stopped!
I stopped in for lunch. Toya was really great. She came over to check on me several times. They made sure the temperature of my food was hot and was prepared to my liking. The restaurant was clean as well. If you are in the Wayne State area I would drop by this place. I just wish they would extend their hours weekly to 7p.
My second visit, definitely not my last. The food is great, prices are very low, service is top notch. The staff treats you like family.
I had the beeeest grilled chicken pita here. Decent size portion for 6 bucks. Chicken was the bomb! Well seasoned, moist, just amazing! I added cheddar cheese. Loved the pita bread. There was not a wait so food came out pretty quickly. It's too bad they close so early.
Great food, great service.

I always go there, the food is really good. The price for your meal is good. Never had any problems
With a group of 9 guys we stopped in for breakfast before a Detroit Tigers day game. The omelette servings were huge. I chose the Greek omelette included gyro meat and feta cheese, was excellent. High quality ingredients, amazing flavor. One of Motor-city's best kept secrets. We all agreed that the breakfast was great!
Royal is the best Grill around...
Royal is the best Grill around.
Came across this place on our way to the DIA.
The plaza looked a bit sketchy from the road - grocery store, pizza place, something else, the Royal Grill. We didn't have breakfast, and since it was late morning that about to become an early afternoon, we spotted this place just in time.
Inside, it looks like your usual eggs / omelets / hotdogs / burgers place.
My wife ordered an omelet with mushrooms and I had "The Royal Breakfast" consisting of three eggs any style and three meets (links, bacon, ham) plus a plateful of hashbrowns.
The portions came very quickly and tuned out to be quite large. The food tasted great and much lighter than we anticipated. I don't know how they cook it but there was no oil dripping from any of the stuff. And the food wasn't over-cooked or over-salted, something that is almost impossible to come across.
Two full breakfast plates and two hot teas costed us only $14 plus the tips.
I would eat here again any day.
